Recently our team has faced with a weird issue, as in there is a custom ribbon change that is implemented in the model drive app. The changes is working perfectly in the development environment. The problem arises when we try to move the change as part of Managed Solution in to the target environment. The team is quite not sure what is really happening. Tried multiple iterations of deployment, then as usual the clear cache and tried in incognito mode and nothing helps to resolve this issue.
The final step a support ticket is been raised to Microsoft. To our surprise we are advised to push the ribbon changes as Unmanaged solution and the rest as Managed solution and it worked! Hope this will help you guys if you are also facing this issue in you end.
